Sony presents this television as a perfect Flat Panel replacement for your old television. The aspect ratio on the new Sony PFM42V1/B screen is Widescreen (16:9). This TV also has a resolution of 852 x 480. Now the tuner on the Sony PFM42V1/B is NTSC. The video standard available on this television is NTSC, SECAM, PAL.
